RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with Asset Teams, Drilling and/or Projects to provide Environmental input to operational planning and risk assessment processes i.e. Permit Applications, HAZOPs, HAZIDs

Support the implementation of appropriate Company Environmental policy, direction and targets

Identify and facilitate the preparation, application and maintenance of relevant Permits & Consents

Support Business Assurance activities through Auditing & Compliance Monitoring against relevant UK environmental legislation and company procedures

Preparation of Environmental Statements (ES) and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs)

Maintenance of appropriate Environmental documentation/procedures with transparent actions and responsibilities

Compilation, verification and interpretation of all relevant environmental data (and timely submission to relevant bodies) e.g. Annual Reports, KPIs, EEMs data

• Early identification of new and emerging environmental legislation and interpretation of its impact on UK Business Plan.

• Or any other tasks as assigned from time to time with the agreement of the line manager

REQUIREMENTS

Degree or equivalent in an environmental (or relevant science-based discipline) prefered
Relevant experience (preferably within an E&P Company)
Thorough knowledge of relevant UKCS Offshore Sector Environmental legislation (on and offshore)
Expert knowledge of industry “good/best practices” in the area of environmental performance
Practical experience of implementing (and maintaining) verified environmental management systems (EMS) in accordance with recognised HSEQ management tools and techniques
