Naval Architect required to work at the headquarters of a world renowned shipping specialist.This position is based within our clients highly prestigious global headquarters in central Europe and due to continued growth of customer requirements and expansion of their large fleet they are seeking a highly professional Naval Architect seeking for long-term career move. Key aspects of your role will include the following: Responsibility for all design and engineering activities including loading and stability calculations Synchronization of operational processes and the vessel design process Optimization of load-plan scenarios Management of Transport Engineering projects Provide technical advice and support to the commercial team Attending operations and technical meetings with customers Support within the Transport Engineering Department for all design and engineering activities You should have the following: Academically trained in naval architecture or offshore technology at university level with main focus in mechanics, analysis of structures, hydrostatics and ship stability Proven experience with heavy lift projects is highly advantageous, although alternative vessel experience will be considered Experience in project management Knowledge of modern mathematical techniques in the field of experience in structural design and ship motions Ability to build strong working relationships and work well with a team orientated environment Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor. Experience with an FE program Ansys is preferred. Salary rewarded will be dependant on level of experience, 65,000 plus bonus is a guide only, a higher salary can be offered to exceptional candidates. Relocation support will be provided.
