Soul Resources are seeking a Subsea Engineer - Moorings, Flowlines and Integrity to work in Canada.

As the Subsea Engineer - Moorings, Flowlines and Integrity, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspection, and maintenance on the FPSO mooring and flexible riser system. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting any analysis, design, fabrication, testing and installation of flowlines, risers, moorings and associated kit.

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Degree in relevant engineering discipline or equiv
Eligibility for membership in the Association for Professional Engineers and Geoscientists

Knowledge and Experience:

- Knowledge of subsea facilities, vessel mooring systems and various offshore operation interface areas e.g. drilling and completions, FPSO and turret operations, installation from vessels, Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) operations
- Knowledge of dynamic mooring and riser analysis as well as model testing
- Experience with design, fabrication, installation and operation experience in offshore oil and gas systems with particular focus on subsea developments
- Experience with design, installation, inspection and maintenance of FPSO mooring and flexible riser systems
- Experience with interfaces between FPSO vessel, moorings, and dynamic risers
- Experience with installation and intervention on subsea systems, including ROV operations
- Experience in working with diving support and installation vessels

- Advanced analytical skills in order to secure relevant information and/or data and identify key issues and relationships to determine appropriate course of action to rectify deficiencies
- Capacity to learn, assimilate and apply new job-related information in a timely manner
- Sound safety, hazard analysis and risk assessment skills
- Project management skills
- High achiever who sets high goals and standards of performance for self

Medical (Physical) Requirements/Standards:
- You may be required to travel offshore periodically and, therefore must successfully complete the medical assessment and required training for clearance to work in that environment
