Our client specialising in the provision of calibration services to industry currently has a vacancy for a Technical Sales Engineer operating in the central belt of Scotland. Operating from over 19 locations the organisation provides expertise across equipment sales, hire and calibration services. The candidate: You will be highly motivated, self driven with a proven record in technical sales of instrumentation, process engineering or a related engineering discipline. A formal qualification is of benefit but not mandatory. You will have excellent communications skills and be competent with Microsoft office applications. Training and support will be provided in the organisations full range of products and services. The job: Reporting to the sales manager the successful applicant will operate from home and will supplement the activities of the existing sales team. The primary roles will be the expansion of business within existing customers and the acquisition of new customers across equipment sales, hire and calibration services. The unique customer planning and enquiry monitoring systems together with internal support will provide the right candidate with the information to succeed within this challenging and competitive environment. The remuneration: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications with basic and OTE.
