At the departmental level, develop, plan, implement and manage the corporate downstream business plan and capture ventures opportunities on a timely and cost effective manner. The position encompasses the development and execution of multi-billion dollar downstream projects in joint venture with foreign partners, from inception to operations start up in Qatar and is international locations as well as overseas investments and acquisition. Direct the department which focus is geared towards the development and diversification of domestic and overseas investment opportunities that monetize feedstocks and natural gas reserves by increasing the penetration of petrochemical markets.

Required Skills/Experience:
M.S.c degree in Petroleum/chemical engineering/economics from a reputable international institution is a must; Higher academic or professional qualification (post-M.Sc/MBA) is preferred to embrace the commercial dimension and job complexity; these degrees will have been proofed and updated by a continuous competence-based learning in stimulating smart work environments.
Desired Skills/Experience:
at least 20 years of professional experience in petrochemical business and downstream ventures with minimum 5-10 years at managerial position. Broad and current knowledge of a wide spectrum of industries, namely: refining and petrochemical industires, hydrocarbons and gas processing, clean fuels, power generation & utilities and downstream transformation industries. Proven and strong international projects management skills aquired preferably along a significant multinational exposure. Extensive hands-on experience in international business development and in developing downstream ventures and evaluation, including technical, financial, marketing, contractual and other relevant disciplines.
