Job Description
Foster Wheeler is looking for a Control and Instrumentation Engineer with experience of offshore design, to work within the Glasgow office, to carry out the instrument scope of work on various modification and upgrade projects for Offshore Platforms in Norway. The work involves the upgrade/ replacement of instrumentation, control systems, actuated valves, fire and gas systems etc. Responsibilities include: -Working as in team member within the instrument team. -Experience of offshore design and preparation of construction workpacks would be beneficial. -Production of workpacks and technical documentation in line with client and international standards. -Co-ordination with the instrument designer, other engineering disciplines and project engineer with regard to technical issues. -Regular trips to client offices in Norway. Offshore certificate not required. -Able to work independently to organise and prioritise workscope.
