Job Description
The purpose of the role is to deliver process engineering expertise on time and budget to support our multibillion dollar, multidisciplinary, multinational projects in the refining, chemical, oil and gas, and LNG sector.
Requirements
- A successful career path in the energy sector, proven process engineering design experience, and demonstrable expertise in refining, chemicals, oil and gas and/or LNG gained through project execution with a major multi-national contractor.
- Chemical Engineering degree (minimum)
- Chartered Engineer
- Flexibility is essential as occasional international travel will be required - usually of relatively short duration, but often with little notice
Responsibilities
- Ensure FW and Client Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures are followed and that a high standard of safety is achieved in all your work.
- Carry out process engineering design activities, following client and Foster Wheeler standards and procedures to schedule and budget as advised by your project line manager.
- Develop, review, and take responsibility for the accuracy of detailed calculations, process engineering datasheets and drawings to specify the process engineering requirements of our projects.
- Supervise the work of your assigned reports on the project, and assist in the mentoring and development of junior staff as requested.
- Remain up to date with the latest technical developments in your fields of expertise and demonstrate, provide and develop appropriate technical solutions for specific project issues.
- Provide technical expertise and support to business winning activity as required.
- Review and audit process engineering activity on projects and support internal development and continuous improvement activity as required.
- Mentoring, coaching and development of junior staff.
