Senior Engineers within Subsea Intervention (VetcoGray)

As a Senior Engineer you will be have working tasks such as:
  • Design and modification on Subsea Intervention equipment
  • Specification and follow up on internal and external engineering service providers
  • CAD modelling and drafting
  • Writing procedures, manuals and reports, updating documentation and drawings, create part and document structure in the electronic documentation system.
  • Support in concept studies for new/ modified equipment, create Functional Design Specification
  • Knowledge and experience within Intervention tools and Subsea operations
  • Utilize relevant tools, processes, procedures and industry standards for assigned tasks
  • Engineering Support on offshore operations
  • Reporting status and progress for assigned tasks
  • Act and perform according to GE’s Growth Values and with unyielding integrity

  • Status: Staff
    Required Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Technology
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Be familiar with the design process from the concept phase to delivered product
  • Knowledge of the following systems: 3D CAD (ProEngineer), 2D CAD (AutoCad), Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of mechanical design, including drafting, materials, testing, calculus and manufacturing technology
  • Ability to work independent and gain progress in work
  • Knowledge and experience within project planning, risk management, HMS and QA.
  • Familiar with Industry standard
  • Good English communication skills both oral and written
  • Desired Skills/Experience: We prefer employees who will contribute to both their own- and the teams development, and that works systematic and efficient. Subsea experience is an advantage
