Job Description
Working in a team of Process Fire & Safety engineers on projects and general support to engineering. Main Function within department: - Responsible for Fire Systems issues and deliverables during FEEDs and the Design Phase. Meeting Project deadlines and milestones for deliverables, liaising with Project Management and Client.
- Have good understanding of International Fire Codes and writing philosophies and specifications that are project specific.
- Producing Fire systems Equipment layouts and P&IDs for input to CAD group.
- Calculating fire water demands and operate computer hydraulic software package.
- Design related water deluge systems and foam systems.
Requirements
Chemical Engineering degree minimum Microsoft Excel good working knowledge plus knowledge of Microsoft Access QRA, Reliability, Engineering safety review background In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the team leader/manager from time to time.
