Senior Geoscientist - Expat Package

An excellent opportunity for a Geoscientist in a midsize integrated operating company has developed in Western Europe as they look to expand on their current assets. They are a dynamic organization with a portfolio of assets in several different continents which are at different stages of the E&P life cycle. Through reinvestment from already producing assets their flexible business model allows for new ventures in countries where they believe to be a high level of return. Based in their HQ you will play a leading role in the expansion and further investment they decide upon.

As a Geoscientist you will be charged with playing an active role in the companies E&P projects from early exploration strategies to development and hopefully production, whilst training and mentoring a small team of locals. As this is a senior advisory role you will have a major technical input into new ventures, prospect generation, process and play fairway analysis, whilst also advising on where appraisal and development wells should be drilled. You will need to have excellent seismic interpretation & mapping skills at regional prospect level, ideally using Petrel interpretation software. Proven experience in analyzing and assessing the risk of new acreage in data rooms whilst working with joint venture partners and government institutions is a necessity.

This role is for a senior professional who has a minimum of 12 years operator experience working in carbonate and clastic environments. If you have proven working experience as an exploration geologist within a subsalt basin and enjoy playing an integral technical role within an innovative modern cultured company then you will be well positioned to succeed in this role.
