The Project Engineer must have experience of Instrumentation, design and commissioning of both new-build and integrated modifications projects. This to include experience in a variety of activities including Operations, Maintenance, Project facilities management, Front End Design, Detail Design and Installation and Commissioning in both on and offshore environments

Responsible for the development and delivery of engineering deliverables and project related activities. These included responsibility for Instrumentation work scope from design to commissioning and handover. Experienced in the development of vendor work scopes and vendor management and control. Responsible for project schedule and budget requirements.

Experience within both functional engineering teams and dedicated projects teams reporting directly to Lead Engineers and dedicated Project / Engineering Managers.

Essential Experience
With over 10 years oil and gas technical experience in the following areas:
Control & Instrumentation systems design within the Oil & Gas industry for both on/offshore projects.
Field instrumentation and hook-up.
PLC and DCS based control and shutdown system design and integration.
Offshore surveys/reports and site procedures.
Engineering deliverables (FEED, Design Book, SOW’s, Data Sht’s, Work packs)
Detailed Commissioning procedures. (Systems and Packages)
Vendor management including FDS development and design Interfaces.
Operations procedures, handover and training.
Maximo – Maintenance Management safety tagging/project planning
Estimating, planning and progress reporting, ensuring adherence to schedules and man-hour budgets.
GOC (Guidance on Certification) procedures.

Depending upon the successful candidates desire, this appointment may be either a contract or a staff position.
