The Reservoir Engineering Practice at Petroleum People has been sourced to secure the services of an experienced Production Technologist for a market-leading oil and gas company. This business operates at the forefront of technological innovation, employing a strategy which has delivered an enviable global production rate and an impressive capital position in the current economic climate.

As a talented and senior professional, the successful candidate will take charge of a dedicated technical team with overall responsibility for maximising the value of my client’s operated assets. Key accountabilities include working closely with reservoir engineers in preparing completion design and perforation strategies to optimize reserves. To guide and support asset team the day-to-day operation, to review and find new opportunity in mature field to improve field production. To propose any workover necessity with economic consideration. To ensure well integrity, surveillance and intervention activities. As a team leader they will mentor junior engineers and ensure the successful delivery of all Waterflood and EOR projects, liaising with other departments to ensure they are properly, and successfully executed.

The incumbent is likely to have enjoyed more than 10 years post-graduate experience with world renowned operating companies. A classic Production Technologist background and demonstrable managerial abilities are also a must.
