Change Internationals client, a leading International ship owner and management company urgently requires a Chief Engineer to join one of it's Seismic Survey vessels which is currently operating in South East Asia. As Chief Engineer you will undertake numerous responsibilities including: - Responsible for the hull/structure, tanks, etc, of the vessel and for the safe and efficient operation of all plant and machinery, permanently installed, on the vessel. - Responsible for the management of all maintenance tasks - Must be familiar with the vessel's plant and machinery and shall ensure that the Engineering staff is adequately trained in their safe operation and maintenance. - Shall ensure that all manuals and drawings are kept up to date. - Responsible for the ordering stores and spare gear and maintaining sufficient onboard stock levels, to ensure that the vessel's operational capabilities and safety are not jeopardised. Candidate Requirements: - Class 1 or Class 2 Chief Engineer Certificate - 3 Years experience as Chief officer - 3 Years recent experience on board Seismic Survey vessels - Able to join the vessel around the 9th November in Singapore - Able to work a 10 weeks on 10 weeks off rotation In return our client is offering: - $6000 USD per month - Rejoining bonus every time you join a Nordic vessel after initial hitch - 15% of monthly base salary - Opportunity for excellent career development and exciting work.
