Our client is an Aberdeen based market leader in the design, development, lease and operation of tanker-based production and storage systems (FPSO).They are currently looking for a Planning Engineer for maternity cover from December 2009 - June 2010 with the following remit:- RESPONSIBILITIES •Preparation and Maintenance of all Integrated Operational Plans for two busy FPSOs
•Responsible for the delivery and Issue of 6 Week, 90 Day and 1 Year Plans
•Facilitation of all Planning Meetings as required including the taking and issuing of action logs / minutes
•Develop Adhoc plans as required by Management and Discipline Engineers and maintain detailed activity plans
•Liaise with Management and Discipline Engineers for plan updates
•Provide input to POB Management which will include close working with the Logistics Co-ordinator for all mobilisations
•Provide adhoc cover for Logistics Co-ordinator
•Attend daily Asset morning meetings
•Assist with Shutdown Planning REQUIREMENTS •Candidate will preferably have a minimum of 5 Years planning experience in similar role
•Fully conversant with Microsoft Project 2007, Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and POB histograms
•Good understanding of Offshore Production Operations and Maintenance Management Systems
•Conversant user of the Vantage POB System
