Our Client is looking for an Electric Submersible Pump Specialist. This is a contract position based in Houston, Texas.

The Deepwater Completions team comprises of a core group of engineers who specialize in all phases of deepwater well completion activities on a global scale primarily focused on subsea developments. The team provides subsea completion design and execution expertise to areas in North and South America, Africa, and Asia Operating Units and Project Teams.

This a technically challenging work environment characterized by a continuing need to advance and apply cutting edge technology. Through technology, many industry firsts have been implemented and will be required to unlock the potential in the future. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of high profile and important developments by providing world class technical solutions. The wells typically account for 40% of the total development cost in multi-billion dollar projects.

Responsibilities:
Utilize predicted reservoir performance, pressure depletion, and well parameters to optimize the pump design for in-well and caisson systems for international/domestic subsea developments.
Supervise offshore ESP installation, commissioning, trouble-shooting, maintenance, and performance/function tests.
Provide supervision for FAT, tear-downs, spin-up tests, and assembly quality control of large state-of-the-art systems.
Participate in HAZID’s, HAZOP’s, and planning exercises.
Prepare installation plans, intervention plans, and sparing philosophies.
Specify the surface power requirements, surface ESP hook-up requirements (VSD, transformers, data transfer, etc.), and review commissioning procedures.
Review the operating procedures and well operating guidelines and update as required.
Prepare technical specifications of ESP systems.
Supervise preparation of contract tactics, strategies, and documents service agreements. Capacity to build contracting strategies within global environments incorporating prudent quality assurance and quality control measures.
Monitor the ESP project implementation as per service contract for all the necessary material supply for ESP applications, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance service.
Ensure that the completion design interfaces are sound and optimized to achieve all of the well objectives.
