Our client a leading Engineering Company specialising in the Oil & Gas Industry require a Quality Engineer for a long term contract position based in Merseyside.Working within a fabrication shop the role will involve being the resident engineer for our client and day to day tasks will involve; - Overseeing all quality related procedures on behalf of our client - Monitoring the performance of the subcontractor - Providing expertise on quality inspection / welding procedures and quality plans - Conducting regular on site meetings with the sub contractor - Producing details reports to the client on a regular basis Person Specification - Lead Auditor - Cswip senior welding inspector - Working knowledge of NDT Techniques - Experience of working in a similar role within a Fabrication environment The role is offered on a 12 month contract basis and all applicants should apply by sending their current CV.
