Lead Mechanical Engineer (static equipment)

To manage and technically direct the Mechanical Engineering Design of the project.
Ensure that the Mechanical design meets the client's required, including specification, requisitions, calculations, data sheets, flow- sheets, manuals, studies and reports as applicable, meets the project's requirements.
Control of the Mechanical team to ensure adherence to programme and man-hour control requirement.
Administration requirements for the project.
Initiating and Maintaining Quality Assurance requirement of Project procedures.
Attend regular design review meeting with the project Manager and Lead Engineers.
Capability to develop Conceptual, FEED & Detailed Engineer.
Work in Oil & Gas Industry Project.
Responsible for the technical integrity of their deliverables and ensuring that other disciplines input is incorporated.
Review of all / any technical proposals.
Supervise or act as originator for all mechanical engineering deliverables (specifications, datasheets etc), whilst following all operational procedures.
Incorporates check & IDC comments.
Act as checker for selected engineering deliverables.
Plan and schedule of discipline deliverables and activities including man-hour estimation.
Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure that other disciplines input are incorporated.
Perform preliminary/basic sizing of mechanical equipment and provide preliminary input to other groups.
Review all relevant data provided by client or other disciplines. Ensures equipment compliance with specifications, as well as national / international standards.
Prepare enquiry requisitions, evaluate bids, prepares technical bid evaluations & provide input to joint purchase recommendation.
Prepare bid clarification questions and handle responses, and coordinate / chair technical aspects of bid clarification meetings.

The Package;
Location- Design Offices, Tripoli, Libya
Rotation - 65 days on, 21 days off (9/3)
Days worked per week - 6
Hours worked per day - 8
Start Date - ASAP
Visa/Permits, Accommodation, Meals, Laundry, Transport to/from place of work, mob/de-mob flights (economy class) all provided.

Remuneration: 250 - 300 UK Pounds/day
