A Major LNG Operator requires a Cost Engineer to join them on a $1.0bn+ CapEx project to recover LNG boil-off gas being flared at the LNG loading terminal be based at the EPCM contractor's offices in either UK or USA (subject to EPC award) for an initial period of 12-18 months for the detailed design stage and then transfer to site for the construction, commissioning and start-up of the plant at Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC) in Qatar.Main Responsibilities : Lead and support the cost engineering, estimating and reporting efforts for the execution phase of a $1.0bn+ CapEx project in Ras Laffan City, Qatar. The Project Cost Engineer will be required to coordinate with and assist Project Management in the provision of a comprehensive Integrated Cost Control, Reporting and Monitoring function for the Project. To perform all cost/forecasting analysis and consolidations of same at a summary level for internal and external reporting to Project Management, Partners, Shareholders, various external financial and statutory organizations to satisfy budget, cost and forecast management information requirements for the duration of the Project. Experience and Qualifications : Expert with various proprietary project management and cost management computing systems. At least 10 - 15 years oil industry cost function, including significant experience on large multi-national and multi-location projects.
