We are currently looking to strengthen our Field Engineering group in Aberdeen and invite applications for the above position to provide product development, reliability and engineering technical support to Operations and Sales for the Smith Drilling and Evaluation team. Communicating customer and product needs to the Design/Engineering Departments and new technology and designs to local Operations is essential to this position.

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates should preferably have oilfield drilling experience (e.g. mud-logging, MWD or mud engineering) for the above position. In addition you should have excellent technical acumen, be a good team player, have strong communication skills (both written and verbal), proficient computer skills and strong analytical skills.
Desired Skills/Experience: Candidates should preferably have oilfield drilling experience (e.g. mud-logging, MWD or mud engineering)
Required Qualifications: Candidates should preferably have a degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Technology.
