Responsibilities & Duties

• Day to day responsibility of the Resident QA/QC Manager’s activities include:
• HOC assignment and participation with pre-construction activities, such as schedule development, estimate development, procurement support, development of QA/QC procedures set up and input and key personnel selection.
• Responsible for leading the site Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.
• Interfaces with operations, client and corporate Quality Assurance/Control staff to ensure Quality objective are met.
• Site control of implementation of the ASME and Regulatory Quality Control system.
• Implements project Quality Assurance/Control program at site.
• Reviews and forwards all special procedures such as welding and NDE to HOC.
• Ensure that Special procedures are not implemented until approved by HOC.
• Develops special Quality Assurance and Quality Controls procedures
• Provide technical and administrative direction to the field staff.
• Responsible for performance appraisals, goal setting, training and quality of those functions under their leader.
• Coordinate inspection and test groups.
• Supervise and manages QA/QC activities in Country to insure the Project Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions supports the construction effort in accordance with the schedule and in compliance with the Project Objectives, Schedules, Specifications, Procedures, Plans, Requirements and Directives.
• Supervises and audit the subcontractor Quality Control
• Supervise and audits internal aspect of environment Safety, Material Handling and Storage, Document Control and TCC Quality Program.
• Direct others in the preparation of various weekly, monthly, annual and job reports.
• Client responses and HOC/POC reporting will be required and shall be prompt, accurate and professional in all form, verbal and/or written.
• Committed to project Safety, Health, Environmental, Security, socioeconomic and Quality requirement
• Provide the leadership for his responsibilities and is accountable for the results.
• Function as Key Team Member within a Team environment with every decision based on what is best for the TEAM.

Requirements

• Graduate of Business College with 15 years practical experience
• Having held a similar managerial position in the last 2 years
• Ability to supervise large groups essential
• Experience in using Microsoft Outlook, Internet, Excel and Word applications.
• Must be a team member and team player with leadership, motivation and technical skills
