My client is a rapidly expanding E&P company, who are at present building a sustainable, exploration–led portfolio in the North Sea and they are a financially secure company in these difficult times.

They already have a licence portfolio in both the UK and Norway and are looking to expand their exploration programme internationally in the next couple of years.

They currently have a requirement for a Geophysicist to join their dynamic team of geoscientists who are based in Bergen.

Candidates will ideally have around 10 years upstream experience in a Geophysicist role, they will be technically focused with processing experience and a background in AVO analysis / Rock Physics and Familiarity with Petrel would be desirable although not essential.

Candidates do not need to speak Norwegian although should they wish to learn the language this is offered by my client.
