1.Provide Crane Operator/ Roustabouts with relevant instructions for current and forthcoming operations
2. Ensure pre job meeting is done prior to all non-routine deck operations
3. Supervise all cranes and deck operations such as running casing, picking up or laying down tubular, placement of equipment and supplies, etc
4. Coordinate supply boat traffic, particularly during loading and unloading materials
5. Check lifted loads for clearance, obstructions in movement, balance, and proper rigging
6. Assist in the operation of bulk system for loading, transfers and general usage
7. Monitor quantities of expendables such as fuel, potable water, and drill water
8. Supervise the replacement or installation of mooring lines and bulk fill up hoses
9. Supervise the maintenance, inspection and repair of cranes and barge equipment, Ensure the Preventive Maintenance tasks on these equipments are completed and recorded
10. Ensure a clean and organized main deck and pipe deck
11. Maintain an organized barge equipment store
12. Operate, maintain, and repair as needed, the rig’s firefighting equipment and systems.
13. Keep a running inventory of slings and lifting equipment in use. Monitor the weather conditions and rig motions involving lifting operations
14. Record daily activities in official logbook and ensure that proper documents and licenses are valid and posted as required

2. The deck pusher is responsible for organization of the deck. The Deck Pusher is responsible for coordinating with Drill Floor to supply what is needed for the rig to operate efficiently
