Yme is an oilfield located in the southeast part of the North Sea, 110 km southwest of Egersund, The field has previously been in production, but was closed down in 2001. 15.05.07 the Government approved a new plan for developing and operating of the Yme field. TENAS is operator for the developing. Yme belongs to production license 316, the licensees are Talisman Norge (70%), Revus Energy ASA (20%) and Pertra ASA (10%). The production license was assigned the licensees in 2004. Yme is the first field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf to be reopened. The Yme field is constructed with a jackup production facility that will be placed on a storage tank on the seabed on the prospect Yme Gamma, and a subsea facility on Yme Beta, 12 km away. The ocean depth in the area is between 77 and 93 meters.Part of a review team with the initial task to create a safety basis of design specific for YME based on risk assements / HAZIDs. canndidate will be expected to be familiar with codes and standards for fire and explosion mitigation.
