This position is responsible for providing technical, administrative and financial direction for all manufacturing related departments as well as supporting continuous process improvement, six sigma, safety & environment. This inlcudes assisting the Manufacturing Leader in controlling and analyzing manufacturing activities to accomplish departmental objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Provide basic manufacturing & technical support to all welders.
- Read & comprehend Blueprints and Engineering Specifications. Should be able to create and develop new WPS & PQR.
- Prepare Process Routings and determine most economical Process Sequence.
- Maintain and update manufacturing documentation for future availability.
- Perform time studies and specify standard run time for manufacturing of components parts. Able to write WPS and NDE specifications.
- Liase with internal Engineering and customers on welding relating issues and performances

Status: Staff
Required Skills/Experience: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science. Post graduation in Metallurgical Engineering or welding Engineering is preferred.
- 5-8 years working experience in a manufacturing environment with experience in Material, Welding, NDE and PWHT.
- Adaption and interpretation of established practices & procedures. Should be able to write WPS, * PQR and WPQ. Should be Level-II in NDE qualification.
- Pro-active & self driven.
- Analytical skills in manufacturing environment. Should be able to follow 5S. Should involve in HVM, Six Sigma, SGIA acitivities, and lean manufacturing.
- Good interpersonal skills and should be able to lead a small team.
