A major Oil & Gas operator requires a Maintenance Assistant to Supervise safe and effective execution of maintenance work on a Offshore rotational role based in Qatar,Specific Duties:
• Carry out and/or supervise maintenance work associated with turbo-generators, gas compressors, pumps and other machinery within their skill set.
• Carry out all preventative maintenance work in accordance with the plan and in cooperation with the Maintenance Supervisor
• Ensure that adequate documentation and reporting of maintenance activities are carried out
• Ensure that all modifications, drawings, etc are recorded and updated accordingly in accordance with procedures and policies
• Actively promote implementation of the companies safety and environmental procedures Qualifications & Experience:
Ideally the candidate should be either a qualified Marine Engineer, hold a Degree from a recognized University in an appropriate technical discipline or some other higher level technical qualification such as an Higher National Diploma
Other candidates may be considered if it is coupled with extensive and appropriate experience
