MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: • Coordinate and control QA, QC and certification activities within projects • Assist the Project Manager & the Projects QA Engineer in the control of projects from a QA, QC and certification perspectiveMAIN ACTIVITIES: • Develop the Quality plans for major projects • Liaise with Safety, Technology and Operations teams for their input to Projects’ quality activities • Manage the Company Inspection teams (in relation to Projects activities) • Supervise, co-ordinate and control the QA/QC matters for the supply of materials, prefabrication and construction for onshore and offshore works • Ensure procedures and rules are developed and applied according to the latest edition of company referential(s) • Control and check the specifications, requisitions, design, procedures, manuals etc. for compliance with Company Standards • Conduct review of QC documentation generated in support of the Contractor’s activities • Liaise with Project Team members on a daily basis providing feedback on performance of Contractor/ Sub-Contractor OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Engineering degree in a relevant discipline • At least 10 years post qualification experience in QA and QC/Inspection within Oil & Gas Industry • Knowledge of procurement, fabrication, welding and NDT • Basic knowledge of metallurgy and materials engineering • Experience of application of Quality Assurance Systems • Familiar with relevant National and International Codes & Standards • Certified Lead QA Assessor Duration - From mid/late November - December 2010
