Our client, a major oil and gas operator, is looking for a Lead Cost Engineer to be based in Calgary, Alberta. Responsibilities:
-Provide leadership to cost engineers
-Implementation of cost control procedures and practices
-Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts
-Prepare monthly cost reports
-Control and report on cost phasing and ensure effective use of budget by forecasting spend rates
-Ensure accurate cost reporting Qualifications:
-At least 15 years of experience in Cost Control with significant leadership experience
-Experience with a major oil company is an asset
-Relevant degree in Engineering or related discipline
