As Project Manager, you will ensure that a strong project plan and cost estimate are developed, owned and understood by the project team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that resource requirements are adequately defined, identified and allocated to the project. You will also ensure that achieved project milestones are suitably recognise, and will work to achieve Nigerian Content Directive requirements.

The Project Manager will also be responsible for the following:
Monitoring and controlling project performance against budget, schedule, and quality and safety requirements using appropriate control tools, and reporting this to the customer, project team and project management team.
Ensuring safety in design and construction through the application of a defined hazard management process.
Ensuring changes in the project scope of work are identified, defined and managed through the change control process.
Ensuring project risks are identified and defined, and managed through the risk management process.
Ensuring contract agreements between the company and its subcontractors are such that company interests are protected.
Managing sub-contractors and vendors to deliver scopes of work in line with project expectations.

Occasionally, you will represent the company at functions, roll-outs and communication sessions. You will also participate in the Company Emergency Response process and procedure, and will assist and support other Project Managers.

You must be able to take a lead role in coordinating other disciplines, have a focus on delivery, and a good understanding of customer drivers.
