Our client, a major operator within the Oil and Gas industry requires a Lead Cost Estimator within their Project Controls department for a permanent position based in Calgary, Alberta.The Lead Cost Estimator will be responsible for performing and maintaining the overall estimating function including, but not limited to the preparation of internal estimates (various classes), the coordination and review of external estimates, preparation and presentation of analytical and benchmarking data to senior management as required for planning and budgeting purposes. The position requires solid analytical skills together with strong leadership skills. QUALIFICATIONS
-Relevant degree in Engineering or related discipline
-10 proven track record in estimating, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector
-In-depth experience in estimating skills, tools and techniques
-Proven leadership skills
