Job Description
Reporting to the Lead E & I Engineer, you will have a flexible approach to work, be well motivated and possess the ability to work in a team and take responsibility for others. You will be required to produce accurate, high quality work to tight deadlines, and will be responsible for the following: - Executing projects in accordance with applicable Shell Project Procedures and Standards, including Foster Wheeler and/or Shell procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man hour and cost budgets and project schedule targets.
- Liaising with other disciplines and Shell personnel.
- Production of installation scope of works.
- Reviewing drawings and documentation for accuracy, compatibility, consistency, and for compliance with design criteria and overall project requirements.
- Attending project meetings, design reviews, Hazops, constructability reviews.
- Production of Instrument requisitions, produce technical bid evaluations.
- Produce IS calculations, valve sizing, orifice plate calculations as required.
- Producing Estimates for services and materials / installation.
- Production of project proposals.
- Attending site visits and carrying out surveys of existing C&I installations.
You should have: - Experience using Intools, Microsoft packages including MS access, SAP.
- The ability to read and understand P&IDs, Mechanical GA's, Piping drawings and Civil drawings.
- Familiarity with CDM plus a good working knowledge of ATEX, other relevant British and European standards and general C&I principals.
