Reporting to the Lead E & I Engineer, you will have a flexible approach to work, be well motivated and possess the ability to work in a team and take responsibility for others. You will be required to produce accurate, high quality work to tight deadlines, and will be responsible for the following:

• Executing projects in accordance with applicable Shell Project Procedures and Standards, including Foster Wheeler and/or Shell procedures on Safety and Quality Control within the man hour and cost budgets and project schedule targets.
• Liaising with other disciplines and Shell personnel.
• Production of installation scope of works.
• Reviewing drawings and documentation for accuracy, compatibility, consistency, and for compliance with design criteria and overall project requirements.

• Attending project meetings, design reviews, Hazops, constructability reviews.
• Production of Instrument requisitions, produce technical bid evaluations.
• Produce IS calculations, valve sizing, orifice plate calculations as required.
• Producing Estimates for services and materials / installation.
• Production of project proposals.
• Attending site visits and carrying out surveys of existing C&I installations.

You should have:

• Experience using Intools, Microsoft packages including MS access, SAP.
• The ability to read and understand P&IDs, Mechanical GA's, Piping drawings and Civil drawings.
• Familiarity with CDM plus a good working knowledge of ATEX, other relevant British and European standards and general C&I principals.
