An opportunity to manage a portfolio of projects for leading oil & gas consultancy As a well qualified professional in your field you will play a pivotal role within this design orientated consultancy to deliver a variety of projects both locally and internationally within time and on budget. You will use your project management expertise and take to lead right from project initiation until final completion, being the focal point of contact for the client, establishing good working relationships to ensure current and future client needs are identified and met. Internally you will head up the project team, holding regular meetings to assess the overall status of projects, providing direction whilst keeping a close eye on timelines, quality and profitability. • You should have proven relevant project management experience, this will include the ability to grow a project by offering added value solutions to a client on the back of an initial project. • Recent experience of working in the offshore oil & gas sector • Experience of managing multi-disciplinary project teams • A successful track record of delivery on major projects including experience of bid preparation, negotiating bids, contract reviews and drafting exposure. • A strong team player with a hands-on, adaptable and flexible approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced, SME environment. • Highly effective communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Qualifications • Degree (1st or 2i level) in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering • Computer literate, advanced level of Excel and knowledge of AutoCAD desirable. • Chartered status, C Eng, or equivalent and other relevant professional qualifications
