This is an on-going contract position that may be extended depending on the needs of the project and will be based on the project site. PRINCIPAL TASKS: You will initially be part of an Expansion Operations team responsible for issuing Safe Work Permits for all of the construction activities on systems not considered live on the Brownfield site (Base Plant). You will also be responsible for developing the procedures and isolation lists to execute the tie-in’s in the Base Plant and attending CTA meetings related to the construction activities. In addition you will be assisting in development of C&SU procedures and checklists, as well as assisting in development and review of Normal Operating, Shutdown and Emergency procedures. The successful applicants will work in the Brownfield Operations Organization until the systems are mechanically complete and handed over to Expansion Operations. Working in a participative environment you will be accountable for the safe, clean and efficient operation of the Brownfield area. Your responsibilities will include monitoring Construction with a focus on safety.
