A major LNG operating company requires a Mechanical/Welding Inspector to join their onshore project for a period of 8 months in RLIC, QatarThe Mechanical/Welding Inspector’s main function will be to undertake supervision, inspection and field engineering activities on behalf of Company in the area of mechanical and welding works and ensure that these works are implemented in accordance with the Project Integrated Basis of Design and all Project requirements, procedures, budgets and schedules. Within these areas of responsibility he will be required: To support the Senior Mechanical/Welding Inspector in ensuring that Project HSE targets are met or exceeded. To ensure that the specified Quality requirements for mechanical and welding works are met. To ensure that mechanical / welding works are executed in an efficient and timely manner in order to meet the Project time schedule and budget requirements. Qualifications: Professionally-qualified Mechanical / Welding inspector preferably holding an international recognized certificate in Welding Inspection and interpreting records of MT, PT, UT (including ToFD), RT Experience: The Mechanical / Welding inspector shall be a seasoned professional specialist in the field of Mechanical Engineering and Welding inspection during Construction with at least 10-15 years experience, including significant relevant experience on large multi-national and multi-location projects.
