Assist in the development and implementation Company compliance policies and to ensure compliance processes and business activities are coordinated. Assist in the creation and execution of trade compliance processes, to ensure compliance with U.S. and local trade laws and regulations. Ensure that general export and sanctions compliance practices carried out in the locations specific to the European and West African region meet standards and requirements. Maintain knowledge of export and trade-related laws and regulations through training and regular updates. Must maintain knowledge not only of U.S. laws, but of local laws that apply within the region. Act as a knowledge resource for other employees in the region. Communicates policy directives and guidance from the company to regional compliance personnel and management, and keeps regional personnel apprised of general compliance issues. Implement training of other employees. Provide guidance to Region management to ensure operations are also compliant with UK and EU trade compliance regulations. Draft and implement procedures related to regional trade compliance. Monitor trade compliance activities within the region, including ensuring proper licensing for all exports while maintaining proper documentation of export licenses and/or license exceptions used by the location. Works with outside and in-house counsel as necessary to apply for and obtain export licenses. May be assigned responsibility for the administration of one or more trade compliance programs Perform regular compliance assessments and audits at locations within the region.

Required Skills/Experience:	• UK Trade Compliance experience - emphasis on Oil and Gas Service Industry • Strong Quality Assurance experience - with a focus on Oil and Gas Service Industry • Hands-on experience in a leadership role driving a culture of change and continuous improvement • Must be product, process and systems technically oriented. • Strong fiscal disciplines, with the ability to analyse, prioritize and translate results into meaningful financial impact. Well organized and able to manage multiple concurrent tasks • Oil field, Logistics and/or Trade Compliance experience • Trade-related/cross-border experience relating to West Africa • Previous Management experience Able to develop and lead others in a team environment
