Our client a global E&P operator and well established in South East Asia is looking to strengthen its core team with recent development projects being approved. After an aggressive exploration programme which has shown significant promise they are now looking to develop key deepwater assets. To help them achieve this growth they are looking to add proven professionals to the team, one of which is a development geologist. As a Senior Geologist you will be charged with creating and updating 3D fit-for-purpose static models of reservoirs, leading to the appraisal and development of well proposals or field development plans. You will provide a regional geological framework where risk assessment can be made and critical geological parameters for successful development predicted. As a leading figure in the development team you will need to have excellent technical ability in reservoir simulation and proven ability in field development planning. Proven experience in Petrel software will be seen as a distinct advantage. As this role is for an experienced technical professional, you will need to have a minimum of 12 years working experience for a recognized E&P operator. Proven experience within deepwater turbidites and gas clouds would be a real asset which would be looked upon very favorable and you would be well positioned to succeed in this role.
