The position is focusing on drilling method more than on drilling operations in order to prepare the appraisal and development drilling campaign on the discovery made in North West Egypt. Main activities of the position are: - Prepare drilling/completion/work over programs taking safety, technical and cost as drivers for the preparation - Conduct studies to reduce cost for appraisal and development wells - Conduct studies to improve performance - Produce technical and operational synthesis - Draw up operating procedure - Prepare and conduct with C&P entity invitations to tender and service and equipment contracts - Optimize activities of service providers and asses their performance - Ensure the respect of safety rules and frames of reference - Anticipate needs and organize supply with C&P - Ensure cost follow up The drilling engineer is accountable for the drilling/Completion/ Work over programs prepared and the technical solutions retained under the supervision of the Drilling Manager. QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED A solid drilling back ground (+10 years) is required for the position with strong experience on Drilling Engineering/Operations, Completion and Logistic. Egyptian experience will be a plus. Egyptian nationality is a must due to nationalisation.

Remuneration:	90000 - 120000 US Dollars/year
