Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator

Our client now seeks a Quantity Surveyor who must have good experience of Contract Administration for a role based in Qatar. You must have experience of contract administration on petrochemical plants and ideally have gained some experience of working with international oil companies e.g. Shell, Exxon Mobil and similar. You will review incoming letters and advise on contractual issues, manage and draft daily correspondence, advise on all commercial and contractual issues, prepare, update and maintain CWM, CWR CWP and CWO logs, lead with preparation of CWN and CWP, ensure compliance with stipulated time periods for responses to Company on CWN and CWP, prepare, update and maintain subject matter files with relevant document, including schedule as appropriate to assist the Project Directorate Team to manage specific records to pursue recovery of disruption cost as and when appropriate and for prolongation costs, and attend internal and external meetings as required and prepare minutes of meetings. You will need to have a BSc / BEng in Quantity Surveying, ideally be MRICS or AIQS qualified with fluent written and spoken English and be aged up to 60 for Visa requirement in Qatar. This contract length is until October 2010.
