The work involves naval architectural analyses and project administration as part of the clients growing and varied workload.
Experience in the following would be an advantage:
• Riser and mooring analysis
• Vessel motion studies
• Multi-body Dynamic analyses
• Hydrodynamic modelling

The ideal candidates would be able to demonstrate relevant engineering background and a proven track record in a similar field. Applicants having a degree in Naval Architecture and with chartered status will be given preference. It would be helpful for candidates to have a good understanding of first principle hydrodynamics with knowledge of industry standard software packages such as Orcaflex, Freecom/Flexcom, MOSES, AQWA, etc. Candidates with a proven track record in, or candidates with an aptitude for, project management gained at a recognised offshore engineering consultancy or offshore contractor, in addition to knowledge of hydrodynamics, will be given special consideration.
