Our client are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to be based in Great Yarmouth. The role is an interface role between the employer and a client who is about to commence the construction phase of a wind farm. The successful candidate will carry out traditional Project Engineering duties and will ensure the integrity of services being supplied; areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to co-ordination of equipment & personnel and co-ordination of the vessel itself. The project engineer will be responsible for the movement of equipment and ensuring the correct equipment is mobilised to the correct location. The successful incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a relationship with the client and will keep them informed of the vessel mobility and availability. The Project Engineer will not be responsible for any design calculations but does need a good understanding of engineering and technical requirements and excellent inter-personal skills and be skilled in negotiation, resolving conflict and assessment of contractual needs.
