We have been asked to source for a suitable Drilling HSE Team Leader to work on a staff bases in Abu Dhabi with a leading Oil company. The position will be responsible to Plan, direct, control and supervise the activities of a team of prefessional Safety and Loss prevention and Environment Engineers to ensure full implementation of the division's HSE program and procedures, incorporate provision of HSE support to drilling management in line with Company's HSE policies. To promote the HSE culture in the assigned area. Supports and provides proper guidance to the drilling management in the preparation, developement and implementation of the divisions Health, Safety and Enviroment Management System (HSEMS) and other programs/procedures and improving environment related issues. Provides expert advice ad consultation on all matters related to drilling, health, safety and environment issues. Encourages drilling personnel to fully comply with company's HSE Procedures and Standards. Conducts and participates in audits and investigations regarding the full range of drilling operations. Initiates, reviews and update manuals related to HSE. Develops and documents long term HSE strategy for drilling Division and monitors the progress of drilling and coperate HSEMS. Past experince in Drilling Operations on a Supervisory level will be highly desirable.
