The Role As a Naval Architect, you will prepare the Structural Integrity Strategies and oversee the inspections required to maintain the structural integrity of onshore and offshore oil production facilities and FPSOs. Your duties will include: • Prepare and maintain Structural Inspection Strategies and develop and issue detailed inspection work scopes / work packs for topside and subsea inspections for fixed and floating assets • Monitor inspections to ensure compliance with the workscopes and associated procedures. • Assess inspection results and prepare recommendations to the client • Undertake specific investigations into structure problems, contractor performance and application and changes to appropriate legislation/standards. The Requirements • Qualified Naval Architect - Essential • Naval Structural Engineering experience - Essential • Able to demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and dealing with clients - Essential • Offshore Naval Structural Engineering experience - Preferred • Chartered or Incorporated Naval Architect – Preferred The Rewards
