Activities Monitor progress, control Package activities and provide management with float tracking reports Assist Lead Planning Engineer manager in validating progress invoices and Change Order Requests from Contractor Identify potential delays analyze and issue proposed corrective actions as required Prepare the Package Planning documents to contribute to package reporting Support the Lead Planning Engineer in managing the contractual strategy of all the works and follow up with contractor during job execution. Review, develops work planning and scheduling based on work priority. Engineering, material, equipment. Review work progress related to invoicing/payment. Maintain and develop good communication with other packages with the company and contractor in conjunction with planning scheduling and execution of the work. Coordinates main works executions and ensures that the procedure used comply with company specifications, applicable codes, standards and HSE procedures. Ascertain that health, safety and environment rules are observed Recommend technical solutions to problems encountered, with assistance from the expertise. Perform active role in review and approval of change management process Observations On Activities And Missions Liaise with UFR Lead Planning Engineer, Contract Admin, Cost Control and other project packages to assure quality of planning. Required Qualifications And Background Qualification: BSc. Degree or HND in Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying with experience in the oil & gas industry (Substantial experience in another industry will be considered on a case by case basis). Professional Experience : Extensive experience Oil and Gas - Offshore / Onshore Industry or similar Engineering environment. This position requires a professional with strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrable hands-on competency in using Primavera Project Manager, as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Proven ability to interface with internal / external specialists, other disciplines, contractor personnel, Company personnel, other Company project teams, and Company operations personnel at the existing facilities. Proven experience and ability to effectively monitor EPC progress in a contractor's office. Strong communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with contractors and management as necessary. Job Dimension Context and environment : Nigeria and Europe (based in Leeds) USAN project is a new field development in 750 m water depth and 100 km south of the Nigerian coast. USAN is being developed with 42 subsea wells and 8 production manifolds connected to a 2MMbbls storage FPSO via 2 production loops, 2 water injection lines and 1 gas injection line.
