Basic Function and Scope:
Perform on assigned shift variety of sampling activities for Gas, Condensate, Water, Steam, LNG, QRC, Sulphur environmental and affluent samples.
Performa sampling of LNG, QRC, Condensate and Sulphur during cargoes loading and from loading tanks as well as process chemicals and other substance.

Task and Duties:
Carries out in accordance with schedules and ad hoc operations requirements all plant sampling, all gas types, water condensate, Sulphur, water, steam and portable water as well as test required for finished product certification and other similar tests.
Checks and records requested samples and report to lab/area operator to enable them to take action for any extra sampling requirements.
Performs on site training for area operators for sampling types and procedures to enable them to perform sampling safely.
Obtains Chemicals and material samples and maintains sampling points, devices and apparatus in correct conditions.
Reports damage and malfunction of sampling points and equipment to the lab supervisor for necessary action.
Collects special samples of a specific nature such as inflammable or toxic samples.
Reports abnormal conditions during shift to lab/area supervisor.
Carries out other similar or relate duties such as observing safety rules, equipment and chemicals; keeping sampling areas clean and in good conditions, preparing various sampling containers for sampling.

Independent of Operation:
Performs duties in accordance with well-defined procedures and established quality control standards.
Completed work is checked at interim stages by supervisor, particularly with regard to sampling quality and other non-routine plans.

Minimum Requirements:
Good general education, science stream or equivalent.
Extensive experience of sampling and laboratory analytical testing in oil and gas processing plants.
Good working knowledge of English.

Salary for this position is QAR 8000 Basic + QAR 1500 Food Allowance per month (equivalent to $2196.60 USD + $411.82 USD per month).
