Our client is looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor, to retain existing business by ensuring that products and services are delivered and/executed within the required time frame and quality standards, and develop new business for the company by identifying and exploiting market opportunities.The Operations Supervisor is the primary point of contact for all new FRE business opportunities / operations in the UK before/after work has been contracted, and the role is measured by the accurate fulfilment of contracted specification and/or requirements and the generation of new/repeated business. Promote company name through customer interaction and a professional approach to the job in hand - fostering good relations for continued business Visit Client companies to ascertain feedback on current work undertaken on their behalf, develop satisfactory resolutions to problems which may have arisen, and discuss and plan future FRE work requirements which the company could develop - and thus foster good relations with Client companies and develop further business. In addition to the above, while visiting with a Client company, update them on all products and services, and identify and discuss any future work requirements which the company could develop into additional business opportunities. When invited to tender for products and services by a Client company, arrange follow up visit with the company in order to fully ascertain their requirements and develop the basis for our response to the invitation to tender. Maintain contact with workshop & Support Services departments to ensure that client's equipment & operational requirements are understood by all and that the products and services can be provided. Responsible for ensuring that the customer's requirements are identified, this information will be captured on our Customer Order Input Document & Equipment List (COID ) it is the responsibility of the Tech Operations Engineer to complete this documentation for every job & to discuss the requirements with the operations supervisor. The COID is the linking document between the Customer & Operations. It is also the function of the Tech Operations Engineer to communicate and update any changes to the COID when well parameters or objectives change. It is the responsibility of the Operations Supervisor to liase with the customer and close out any NCRs between the Customers. In doing so he will liase internally with the Operations Manager & QHSE Manager to determine the root cause and identify preventative steps preventing repetition. Maintain regular contact across the various departments of the company - for example, attending internal Sales Meetings, Operation Meetings and any internal meeting that may arise. Providing Company management with 24-hour contact/availability for FRE operations, as and when required, on a rotational basis. Participate in the FRE Duty Rota - on call system. The on call system runs for 7 days from Monday at 1700hrs to the following Monday at 1700hrs. Duties undertaken whilst on this rota will include 24hr on call cover, creation of service, equipment and work orders, coordination of warehouse staff and dispatch of equipment to a customer - outwith normal hours of work. Occasionally the jobholder may be required to make a visit to Client company work site in order to scope out the requirements of the job, or provide appropriate advice to personnel when running a particular range of equipment.

Desired Skills/Experience:

Experience/Skills/Knowledge Essential: Must possess relevant experience in FRE oilfield operations, some of which ideally should have been in a marketing and/or service support capacity. Must have demonstrated a good knowledge of Rig Systems and Production/Drilling Operations, and a full understanding of Down-hole Hydraulics, along with a full understanding of tube movement. Must have demonstrated Supervisory and Communication Skills, along with an ability to work in a team environment, as well as an ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems. Must have demonstrated an ability to effectively utilise dedicated resources, and the ability to plan, control, and take responsibility for own work. Must have demonstrated basic keyboard and/or computer skills
