Primary Purpose Of The Job:
Organize and supervise the jobs for corrosion control and corrosion prevention of Process, utilities and affiliated units, Cathodic Protection of Pipelines and Tanks.
As a unique contribution to organization, work to devise the strategies, schedules and plans for Preventive and predictive corrosion control and implement accordingly. In case, corrosion control and prevention could not be achieved, as a result, it could lead into unpredictive failures and immense loss of revenue.
To prevent any unexpected failure and safe our resources from the losses arising from corrosion damage, this job is felt imperativeEducation:
BSc. Engineering, in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent. Experience & Skills:
10 years experience in Refinery, Gas/Oil, Petrochemical or Petroleum related industries.
Certified in NACE level certification as a senior corrosion technologist or equivalent plus NACE cathodic protection technologist CP level-3 or equivalent.
Thorough knowledge of CP methods and Corrosion analysis.
Thorough knowledge of corrosion monitoring and corrosion protection by inhibition and material selection.
Preference will be given to candidate having experience in failure analysis
Technical Knowledge of international codes and standards.
Computer literate in Cathodic Protection, Corrosion monitoring software.
Good communication/interpersonal skills.
Analytical skills
