Be it in the context of preparation for a tender / proposal or involvement in a project as Discipline or Lead Engineer, the key responsibilities of the Senior Engineer are to: Perform engineering calculations for onshore and offshore pipelines, in accordance with International Codes and standards and specific project requirements.

• Plan and implement of project requirements to meet the schedule and budget.
• Technically and administratively manage the project team (engineers, designers and draftsmen); Schedule tasks to meet project
deadlines, and supervise and review the work of Senior Designers / Designers.
• Carry out conceptual studies, including techno-economic feasibility studies for optimum design development.
• Perform engineering for procurement, including preparing material specifications, material and purchase requisitions, technical bid
evaluation, and review of vendor documents.
• Perform engineering for construction / installation including preparing construction specifications, technical inputs to tender
documents, technical bid evaluation, perform / review of engineering calculations and methodology pertaining to construction /
installation.
• Provide site engineering support, as well as other inter-disciplinary support should the requirement arise
• Co-ordinate with client engineers on Pipeline engineering issues; Co-ordinate with clients, subcontractors and/or suppliers, as
applicable.
• Provide discipline inputs to proposals - prepare man-hour estimates and execution strategy papers.
• Interact with other Disciplines as required for design development on projects and with Clients and Vendors / Contractors;
Co-ordinate with Project Managers / Lead Engineers from other Disciplines for the inter-disciplinary tasks.
• Document Control: This entails the development / update of the Document Register with accurate progress information on a regular
basis. Each Lead Discipline Engineer is responsible for the discipline filing system for the project. S/he selects useful
documentation and data at the end of the project and includes these in the Department main filing system.
• Identify issues that impede project progress and report to Project Managers / Discipline Heads.
• Update oneself regarding the latest developments in work-related software and technology, so that these can be applied on projects.
• Ensure that Company's Quality Procedures are being followed while performing the various tasks on the project, as per the Quality
Management System and the Project Quality Plan.
• Contribute towards, maintain and implement both company and client HSE Management System objectives and procedures.
• Conforming and contributing to the Discipline technical standards, knowledge database and Quality procedures.
• Identifying new methodology of work process required for higher productivity.
• Complying with the applicable company procedures for the Engineering Department and the Pipeline Discipline as they are documented,
as well as those procedures in the references listed therein.

Operational Duties:

• As Lead Discipline Engineer, when assigned on projects, responsible for managing the team of engineers, designers and draftsmen, and
delivering the engineering requirements of the project as stated above.
• The Lead Discipline Engineer reports functionally to the Head of Discipline and operationally to one or more Project Managers or
Engineers
• As Acting Head of Discipline, whenever nominated, responsible for the day-to-day administrative management of the Discipline as per
the Head of Discipline's Job Description.
• Whenever assigned, he will be responsible ensuring that the TPAD quality system is understood by Discipline members, and that the
Quality Management System is implemented.




Status: Staff
Required Skills/Experience: Salary, all inclusive, will include accommodation, living allowances, transportation, etc.
Rotation will be based on Bachelor or Family status; the candidate can either choose single status or family status as per his convenience:
Single Status contract: Paid Rotational leave: 4 Months 'ON' / 14 days 'OFF' / Medical insurance is provided for self only
Family status contract: Paid Rotational leave: 11 Months 'ON' / 30 days 'OFF' / Medical insurance is provided for the family (Spouse + first 3 children)
