Our Client has a vacancy for an Instrument Commissioning Engineer based in Aberdeen. This is a contract position. As Instrument Commissioning Engineer, your responsibilities will include performing the technical review of design drawings/deliverables, with the objective of providing input and identifying any changes, ensuring operability and minimise time and cost. You will also liaise and manage interfaces with onshore and offshore Operations personnel, and will act as the engineering vendor liaison. Other responsibilities will include: Pre-commissioning. Reviewing Construction plans with a view to achieving early and efficient client handover. Developing discipline Commissioning Work Orders, Plans, Documentation, Procedures and Handover documentation for early and efficient client acceptance. Witnessing onshore factory acceptance tests. Offshore/Onshore Commissioning. Planing and supervising the discipline onshore and offshore commissioning of new and modified equipment and any affected systems. Advising system priorities, to Construction Focal Point, with a view to early and efficient hand-over. Candidates must have current survival, medical and drug-screen certificates to be considered for this position. Experience required: Sound knowledge and experience of ESD, F&G, PSD, PLC's ladder logic, control systems e.g. DCS. Sound knowledge of PMCS systems. Planning and Reporting. Technical Qualification in subject discipline (ONC minimum). Recent RGIT & Medical. Oil and gas related experience. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong Leadership Qualities.
