They have a number of major projects currently running in Angola.They currently have a vacancy for a Country Manager to take charge of business activities in Angola. Functions: General Management: Preparation and implementation of budgets, country strategy, business plans and business management. Industrial relations and HR. Ensuring compliance with local content legislation. Procedures: Propose, implement and follow Company procedures. Marketing and Sales: Business Development primarily within the Oil and Gas industries. Compile market general data and trends. Preparation of Bids and Tenders. Qualifications: Graduate degree in Business Administration, Engineering. Work experience within the welding/pipeline industries combined with excellent market knowledge. Extensive practical sales experience including extensive experience of additional management responsibility. English and Portuguese speaking. Analytical, conceptual, strategic and planning abilities. A self-assured leader with excellent communication skills. Positive thinking. Performance and bottom-line orientation. Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and a prevailing attitude.
