The company is a North-Norwegian oil and gas company with head office in Alta in Finnmark County and a smaller regional office in Oslo. Geophysicists
Responsibilities
• Regional, structural and seismic stratigraphic mapping and integration of seismic stratigraphic frameworks with sequence stratigraphy from well data
• Generation of synthetics and well-ties
• Well-planning and operational follow-up

Key Qualifications
• MSc or PhD in geology or geophysics
• Extensive years active work experience as a professional geophysicist in the oil industry or academia
• Knowledge of standard industry software, e.g. Petrel, SMT and Landmark products
• Experience from 2D and 3D seismic interpretation
• Ability to integrate geophysical data with geological data, petrophysics and engineering information
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent communicator in English, knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage
