Our client

Senior Petrophysicist

The position will provide petrophysical support to my client's exploration, production and development activities in Norway and UK.

Main responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and supervise all petrophysical data acquisition including wireline and MWD/LWD logs, core measurements (conventional and SCAL), formation pressure measurements (including fluid sampling) and production logging
Responsible for QA / QC procedures for log and core data on operated wells
Responsible for management and preservation of petrophysical data
Perform petrophysical interpretation of operated and non-operated well data
Support the exploration and production and development departments in preparation of data collection programs
Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams for projects in licensed acreage, licence application rounds and new business development opportunities
Liaison with our petrophysical environment at our office in Germany

Key qualifications:
Master degree in a relevant subject
More than 10 years relevant oil company/consultancy experience
Broad experience from the North Sea, the Norwegian Sea and the Barents Sea
Strong knowledge in petrophysical analysis both single-well and field studies
Good knowledge in log data formats, data handling and storage
Strong integration skills with other subsurface disciplines
Experience in using IP software is desirable
Wellsite operational experience is desirable
Fluent in English (spoken and written)

You should enjoy working in an open and flexible environment where your input will rapidly impact decision making at all levels. Ability to cooperate with adjacent disciplines is important.
